WOODLAND THEMED CHURCH

This project brings a welcoming woodland world to life across multiple areas of a vibrant church community space. IDS reimagined the presentation room, Sunday school hallways, and nursery into immersive environments that spark imagination, comfort, and connection for families.

Mascot Integration
The church’s orange owl mascot appears throughout the project, perched above the stage and featured on a sculpted tree, strengthening brand continuity while adding personality and charm to every space.

• Presentation Room
  The presentation room became a charming forest clearing anchored by a sculpted stage-front treehouse. Vibrant treetop murals surround the room with owls, squirrels, and playful woodland creatures, giving the space an uplifting atmosphere for gatherings, lessons, and children’s events. Dual monitors blend seamlessly into the art, and a sculpted owl perched on the cabin roof adds a delightful 3D moment of surprise.

• Sunday School Hallway
  Long hallway corridors were transformed into a sun-dappled forest path. Trees, flowers, and friendly animals guide children toward their classrooms. A standout element is the sculpted tree integrated into the wall, featuring the church’s mascot in the trunk. Overhead branches extend across the ceiling, making the hallway feel like an enchanting woodland passage.

• Nursery Room
  The church nursery room was designed as a peaceful, nature-inspired retreat perfect for infants and toddlers. Soft, friendly characters, including deer, birds, and smiling bears, fill a gentle riverside mural that wraps the room. The palette stays calming and cheerful, creating a soothing environment for families and volunteers alike. Small-scale furniture and play areas tie the whole space together.
