A themed environment is a carefully designed space that incorporates creative elements, such as nature or space themes, to transform eye exam rooms into engaging and welcoming areas for children.

These environments use vibrant murals, interactive features, light elements and large props to create an immersive experience that captures children’s imaginations. By blending functionality with fun, themed environments help reduce anxiety, make medical visits less intimidating, and allow young patients to focus on the experience with ease and enjoyment.

You can call us anytime. We recommend engaging us at least nine months in advance of your project completion target, depending on the scale of the project. We work with ground-up builds as well as renovations and retro-fits.

For custom-themed spaces, our team typically arrives on-site the same day the product does. They manage everything from offloading the sculptures from the truck through to the final details
of installation.

If you are spec’ing pre-designed decor from our catalog collection (see page 105) instead of a custom environment, these items are all designed can be easily installed by your construction team and include detailed instructions for each product.

There is very little maintenance necessary to keep a themed office looking great. A light dusting or wipe down is all that is required to take care of our theming. All of our three-dimensional displays are protected with our industry leading ‘hard coat’ and our custom murals have a protective laminate allowing them to be spot cleaned with soap and water if necessary. Our products have also been thoroughly tested with industry based cleaners for IPAC.

Not necessarily. Technology enables us to be very effective at working with our clients remotely. We leverage advanced 3D modeling programs to ensure the proper fit of murals and sculpted props and we keep you connected through online meetings, phone calls, e-mails, and plenty of in-progress photos and videos.

Installation time varies depending on the size of the project. Our average theming project takes between two to seven days to install completely.

Yes, all IDS products have a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
