But trust us when we say we have something for everyone – and something for all budgets. All of our themed elements are custom built so prices vary depending on design, scope, and complexity. We have created themed spaces from $5,000 to over $800,000. Each design, big or small, serves the same purpose: relaxing your patients and increasing new patient referrals.

Explore Your Financing Options

Not all of our clients just have $100,000 burning a hole in their pocket. The majority finance their theming through local funders. Stay on Budget with Multi-Stage Theming

You can also consider multi-stage theming – get your favorite pieces now and do a second install later as your budget allows. We have seen a number of clients use this option successfully and theme in stages according to their budget and circumstances. Start in the reception area and add to the treatment area later, or add a gaming tablet before adding a whole play area. Do what works best for you.

If you’re a new grad who wants theming but is just starting out then we recommend theming in stages as well. You can start small with murals, a brushing mirror, and even a photo op to help promote your business. We’ll be ready to add more when you are! We can even draw sketches for your office with a final stage in mind so you know that your early theming will fit your expansion as you continue to theme.

An important aspect to remember about IDS theming is that our murals and 3D sculptures are built to last. Old pieces will stand the test of time and look great next to new additions, allowing you to have a cohesive look as you expand.

All of our wall murals are hand-illustrated by our in-house creative team who are experts at creating digital art. Unlike traditionally painted murals, our digital murals are drawn directly on special computer monitors. The digital backgrounds and characters we create can be resized and moved around to fit your space. We can alter your murals to fit around doors, windows, and light switches. If you have a color scheme you wish to match, we can alter the colors to suit your needs.

I especially love creating the 2D to 3D murals. We work with our sculptors to create unique 3D characters that appear to be bursting from their 2D mural counterparts and are specially designed for small spaces such as treatment rooms or hallways. As an expert at designing displays for museums and engaging children in educational activities, production manager April knows how to attract people to focal points, create a safe and interactive environment, and make education a fun activity.

Educating the public is a skill. Whether it’s for museum visitors or dental and medical patients, the same rules apply.

Here Are the Questions I Ask Myself During Every Project We Create Here at IDS:

Will the target audience be engaged and find it appealing?
Is the content clear and are the learning outcomes relevant to what you want to express?
Is it durable, safe, and robust enough to handle children?
If there are moving parts or any electronics, is there a plan for ongoing maintenance?

Part of the education we provide is through interactive displays and education stations. These are a great way to engage both children and adults and can be a fun way to draw people in for a more appealing and memorable dental experience.

Our latest tool for helping dentists educate patients is the Education Station. Whether it’s a feature in your waiting room, or a dedicated educational room filled with different stations that teach various aspects of dental care, there is a lot we can teach young patients about their teeth.

These education stations include great educational tools like:

A giant model of a mouth so children can learn how to brush and floss their teeth.
An interactive station lets them touch and smell giant teeth with stinky cavities.

I often need to ask questions such as “what is the best case to protect this tablet’s screen from damage?” and “what size of screws are needed to keep this item secure?”. I ensure that the interactives we add to office environments are durable enough for everyday wear and tear from children while still delivering the fun or educational message you want to convey.

As a company, we focus on details that may seem insignificant to some, but to us, they are extremely important and can transform an office from typical to extraordinary.
